" Peace is not just absence of war. It is the presence of Justice.
And Justice must be blind to Race, Color, Religion or Species."
Large number of animals, nowadays are being killed for the fulfillment of our needs either for food or for luxury belts or shoes.
- As per the recent reports of Swiggy, the most ordered dish in India is Chicken Biryani. The data says it's 115 biryani per minute.
- Another report of United Nations says that approximately 7.8 billion people live today and yet we torture and kill 2 billion animals every week. If any organism except human beings would have did this, the scientists would have called them a virus.
It's such a time that we, human being, are using all the natural resources including living organisms for our comfort and luxury. We all remember the power of COVID-19 in the last year. It changed our false pride that we human beings are unbeatable. We must understand that "the Nature never forgets and it never forgives".
Animals must be off-the-menu because today they are screaming in terror in the slaughter-houses, in the cages and the crates. Animals do suffer as equal as human beings. They do possess the same emotions and feelings like us. how can we continue being silent despite all this behemoth terror in our society and world. So, I believe that we must change as the world is already changing. So much has changed since our childhood. Apple used to be a fruit, Cloud was in the sky and Amazon was a forest in Brazil. Our single step can bring a big change in the world. Even the Cornell University research says that the optimum amount of meat in our diet is precisely Zero.
Do we know that near to 1 billion people in the world sleeps hungry at night. How great will it be if we distribute our savings to the poor by eating fresh and healthy vegetarian food instead of overpriced Non-veg dishes. We can also save our mother earth through this way. We must understand that our one action could bring multiple changes in the world.
Here, I would like to endorse the quote of a great animal right activist, Philip Wollen that, " LET'S RAISE THE VOICE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NO VOICE"
Very inspiring and the truth.
